The State Fair of Texas runs from September 29-October 22 this year featuring exhibitions, demonstrations, music and cultural events, livestock shows, women’s and children’s cooking and handcrafts, and a whole lot more.

The Fair is an annual historical event, though, and deep fried Twinkies–that’s a cultural experience, right?
Not sure if they’re offering student or homeschool family discounts this year, but it’s still worth considering as a field trip. 🙂
