Field trips don’t always have to be strictly educational.
Sometimes they can just be fun. (But just between you and me, we know there’s ALWAYS something educational going on, right? *wink* You just don’t have to tell your kids that part.)
For example, a visit to a nearby corn maze might be so much fun that your children won’t realize until later how much they learned about Texas agriculture and produce. 😉
Check out the link below, or just type “Corn Mazes near me” into your search engine. I guarantee there’s a maze near you! Some are open now, but if you’d rather wait until it’s cooler, most are even more fun later in the fall.
