In teaching, it is important to appeal to ALL the senses: sight, sound, smell, taste and touch.
Too often when we think of “sound” we simply think of lectures or, at best, read-aloud stories. Those are useful, to be sure, but especially valuable are those rare opportunities to capture the sounds of history.
This YouTube video is not professional-quality, but I love it because it gives us the opportunity to hear the echoes of history.
Enjoy! 🙂
