To wrap up this week of techniques we can employ to teach in the ways boys learn, we must mention ENERGY!

There’s a range, of course, for both boys and girls, but by and large boys are ACTIVE! Yet public schools have all but eliminated recess…while simultaneously bemoaning the rise of obesity in children.

Boys thrive on outdoor activity and competition. Don’t make the mistake of thinking you don’t have time for recess and “playing around”.
